Erica Rizziato’s groundbreaking book, “Towards a Humanism for Organisations: Horizontal Leadership and Consciousness,” has just been published in English by CNR Edizioni (National Research Council Publisher). This book introduces the Methodology for Horizontal Leadership and Integrated Organisations (HOLIO), developed over 17 years of action research. Initially crafted with the NPI Foundation, the methodology has evolved through collaborations with the IMO Foundation and various research partners at the National Research Council in Italy.
As a board member of the IMO Foundation, Erica Rizziato was instrumental in deepening and renewing the scientific aspects of the methodology. This book serves as a valuable contribution for her colleagues within the IMO Foundation. Previously published in Italian in 2020 by Francoangeli Edition, under the AIF (National Trainer Association) series, the original title was “Towards a Humanism of Organisational Life: Generating Development in Complexity with Horizontal Leadership.”
The English edition features updates and additional contributions, including a preface by quantum physicist Federico Faggin and Filippo Abramo, former president of the European HR Association. The HOLIO methodology, regarded as highly innovative in Italy, has even led to the creation of a CNR spin-off company called IMO, which aligns with the foundational principles of the IMO Foundation.
The book is available for download in open access (see the button below) and will soon be available in print format.
