I spent many years working as a language teacher and subsequently as a school principal, driven by a passion for training, personal growth, and professional development. The Leonardo da Vinci Institute—a historic school in Rome where Maria Montessori herself studied—provided the professional and personal environment where I found the greatest fulfillment, largely thanks to the Master’s program in Horizontal Leadership I completed.
This program enabled me to implement IMO’s principles, techniques, and sources of inspiration. I felt supported thanks to the Master as for what concerns the organization in initiating this development, engaging all stakeholders to foster awareness and a sense of responsibility regarding their actions. My efforts were successful, and the school was hailed as a model by the National Evaluation Unit, exemplifying the concept of a “living reality” as defined by IMO’s mission.
I have also served as an expert for the European Commission (EACEA – European Education and Culture Executive Agency).
Currently, I am an elected councilor in the municipality of Cervaro, where I am living. I continue to engage in training and teaching at universities and in university-level courses (English Language and Literature; mehods for pupils with sensory disabilities). I am fluent in English and French.
