I arrived at IMO in 2017 as a participant in the PDL – Leader Development Program. At that time, after having studied Anthroposophy and Christology for 7 years, I lived with the question: How can I join my new understanding of life and human being to my experience working in family businesses for more than 20 years as an executive? This process that effectively allowed me to transform my life and work reality, led me to realise the next step in the direction of my development question, which would be to become a member of the IMO, supporting and facilitating processes of change and development of people and organisations. And so it was that after having worked in companies of various segments, in the areas of organisational development, people management and finance, having studied Accounting Sciences, Postgraduate in Finance and Career Consulting, in addition to having done training in Coaching, Curative Pedagogy and Social Therapies and Living Economy, I became a member of IMO in 2020.

As soon as I arrived at the IMO, I heard a phrase uttered by Adriaan Bekman to a colleague from the Netherlands: “In the IMO you will learn to take Sunday to Monday”. This touched me deeply and then reminds me of my question, when I started the PDL in 2017. And being IMO made even more sense to me. Happy people, who find a meaning for their own biography, attentive to their development, aware that this will be possible the more there is improvement and improvement of the community in which it is inserted, is what inspires me. And so, it makes perfect sense to me to make it easier for organisations, the stage of our most intense social life, where we work with people we don’t normally choose to work for, to be a collaborative, cooperative environment, with autonomous, responsible people who take initiative.
