This year, the IMO International Foundation Conference took place in Beijing: five intensive days spent with colleagues from 11 countries.

It was an intensive week of exchanging experiences, research, and concept development.

We discussed how the methodology for horizontal leadership and integrated organisations can address the challenges of our time.

In particular, we explored the theme of developing horizontal leadership competencies to raise awareness of how our intentions co-create reality in terms of processes and relationships.

Members from various countries then presented practical case studies of how the IMO methodology can be applied to different organisational sectors and cultures.

Above all, it was inspiring to experience the energy and sense of identity that unites this group of over 60 consultants — an identity born of the effort to foster a humanistic approach to organisational life.
