| CV Klaas IJkema |
![]() Klaas joined the IMO coregroup in January 2007. From 1995 until 2007 he has been part-time preacher in the Protestant church community in Wijk bij Duurstede in the Netherlands, living there since then with his spouse Jolande. He is father of two suns, Joram and Matthijs, and one daughter, Carmen. He has studied theology at the theological university in Kampen and has written his theses on the meaning of the philosophy of Fr. Nietzsche in the thinking of the Dutch theologist K.H. Miskotte (1894-1976). Klaas IJkema considers himself as caring for the soul of people, because the souls of people that work in organizations have his warm and professional interest. As a preacher he accompanied the religious community to integrate the meaning of holy stories in the personal biography. For Klaas the attention for the soul has moved during the past years towards outside the framework of the Christian church tradition. In 2003, he followed for this reason a training program for becoming a coach. Hereafter he started his own practice for coaching with passion for soul strength and inspiration. In 2004, he followed the training course “With sense for reality”. This learning path concentrated on organizing, perception and sense creation. In this context he has been responsible for several coaching routes and reflection days concerning inspiration at work in companies. Klaas finds him self especially inspired by the wondering how people transform in many different ways their deepest drives and motives into symbols. |
